Welcome to MariVertex (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy applies to websites, tools and applications operated under the MariVertex brand.

1. General principles

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Information we process is used to provide, secure, maintain and improve our services.

2. MariPDF tools

MariPDF tools are designed for browser-based document tasks. For tools that process files locally in your browser, document contents are processed in the browser and are not uploaded to our servers by that local processing workflow. 3. MariVertex Inventory Alert for Shopify

When a merchant installs and authorizes the Shopify app, we process store information needed to provide inventory monitoring. Depending on app features used, this may include the Shopify store identifier, product and variant identifiers and names, SKU, inventory quantities, inventory locations, alert thresholds, alert preferences, alert history and recipient email addresses configured by the merchant.

We use this information to evaluate inventory levels, apply configured thresholds, record relevant alert events, and send low-stock, out-of-stock, restock or digest notifications. Shopify provides authorized store data through its APIs and webhooks.

4. Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to operate the app. These may include Shopify for platform and API services, hosting and database providers for application operation and storage, and Resend for email delivery. Information is shared with a provider only as needed for the relevant service. Provider terms and privacy practices may also apply.

5. Storage and security

App data may be stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by our hosting provider. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect data, including access controls and secure connections where supported. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, meet legitimate business needs, resolve disputes and comply with applicable obligations. Retention periods can differ by data type. Merchants may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information, subject to applicable requirements.

When a merchant uninstalls the Shopify app, we process applicable Shopify uninstall and privacy-related requests according to our implemented procedures and applicable Shopify requirements. Contact us if you have questions about data associated with a store.
